i have like 6 pieces of dieffenbachia stalk and i want to grow new plants. i tryed laying them down burried in the soil and 2 weeks later the soil was still wet so i pulled them out and they were staring to rot so i cut off the rot and burried them upright. i am using a miracle gro potting soil with some pearlite in it. what exactly do i have to do and where should i keep it.
