Try one & see if have part of the tube attached. IF SO then go ahead. as to light will be more than enough ....

Thanks for your reply but I am not sure what you mean by 'the tube'. The plantlets are hanging off the ends of long thickish strap-like leaves. Could you explain more please.

I have successfully propagated this plant from the plantlets. What I did was to put another pot next to the parent plant and put the plantlets into the soil. Then I waited about a month and clipped the strap leaves away. It worked very well and I now have 2 hanging pots that are equally as full.

For the benefit of anyone else who may read this 'the tube' turned out to be 'the tubeR' - just a typo!

Thanks for that Zach we had thought of it but we were anxious to get it up in the air. Wife vetoed having hanging baskets hanging off hanging baskets (sheesh!).

Just cut those little plantlets free of the parent plant and pot up where you wish. Or the plantlets can be put in a small amount of water to root first.

Thank you Ladygreensleeves and everyone else who responded but that advice - cut them off and pot them - was exactly what we hoped someone would come up with.
