Has anyone cut lupine before? I took some cuttings the other night and noticed the stems were hollow, will these root or not. I root in rockwool and have had problems with stem rot. Any advice?

I have propagated lupins in the spring using cuttings of firm new growth.... applied 0.1% IBA (Rooting hormone) Stuck in well drained soil & misted.... took 15-30 days to root.

Thanks alot G. Did you root them outdoors in your bed? In full sun?

NEVER in full sun...... I use a greenhouse, heat in winter, shade cloth in summer with fans moving the air.
