| Hiya Bought some grapettes months ago, never got 'em into the ground. Still in a glass of water on the windowsill. So now it's December. They're dropping leaves (and producing a few tiny new ones). Should I plant them? Put them in the basement in the dark? Thanks |

| well going outside is not an option in dec ... in z5 ... otherwise i dont know ... i recall.. a few months back.. various grape posts.. but i think that was in the fruit forum ... i seem to recall someone who did have them in a plastic tote in the basement.... but your basic question is fruit 'culture' .. not really propagation.. i never seen the fruit peeps hanging in this forum ... not to say there arent peeps who hang here that might have the answer.. i am just steering you to other fonts of knowledge. one thing for sure.. it really is time to get it out of water.. it is not an aquatic .. at a minimum.. it needs to be potted.. i do knot know where the pots goes. once the plant has settled into it ... good luck ken ps: they are deciduous .. the leaves are supposed to fall off in fall.. as the sun declines ... |
