HELP Need Rooting Advice B4 Going On Vacation

Just got this cutting today
Sorry don't have an ID / Type of pine???

What's The Best Way To Try & Root It???

Will be going out of town for a week on Saturday
Should I leave it in water???
Should I pot it up in soil???

Any advice will be greatly appropriated

When you get back from vacation and decide to try another cutting, do a search on the Conifer Forum (or this forum) and you'll find lots and lots and lots of threads of info. Here's a link to just one (the second one that came up in my quick search):
