ebayer the-iris-cottage BEWARE! from Lochbuie, Colorado

Beware of this seller if you are an iris collector, collecting named varieties.

This buyer has taken and used pictures of named irises from vendors (Schreiner's and Cooley's Gardens to name 2) and then given them a new name when listing them for auction.

The seller hints that he/she has been growing and selling irises for years, yet there is no feedback for any iris sales prior to late summer 2007. Those who bought from the-iris-cottage likely have not even seen blooms on the rhizomes yet and what was sent in 2007 was said to be puny and dried out. She also states that Iris will also grow in full sun or in the shade,i have many plants growing under shade trees in my yard and they grow just as well as the iris planted in the sun. She evidently knows very little about growing irises, and should not be trusted.

Someone who has grown irises for any amount of time at all, would surely have pics of their own that they would not have to get them off the net...sigh...Something is just not right!

Here are a few of the discrepancies of auctions that are in progress now.

These are a few listed as rebloomers that are not registered as such:

CRAZY IN LOVE not a rebloomer

MIDNIGHT PASSION photo is not true and two 2007 intros for $4.99 is about $40 short

ARCTIC FOX not a rebloomer

BRAVE FACE not a rebloomer

CRANBERRY ICE not a rebloomer photo wrong no white beard

STAR SURGE not a rebloomer

CHINA WALK not a rebloomer

and the list goes on.
