Patience paid off

I'm curious... how many times do you email a trader who hasn't come through (or how long do you wait) until you go ballistic... Not really serious.. my ballistic days are over, except when my husband does stupid things like trying to straighten the X-mas tree without help and dumps it over.

ANYWAY. I did a trade last June with someone who was to send her end of the trade in the fall when the seeds she promised would be mature. She didn't, so I emailed her repeatedly before I got a promise that she would send her end of the trade. It didn't come when she said it would; I almost set up a negative comment here, but I am trying not to sweat the small stuff, waited another week, and she came through!

I am so happy... It wasn't so much that I wanted the seeds, I just wanted that trust to be rewarded and it was. I'm still smiling.

Kate,

Glad it worked out. I know sometimes folks are not at their computer as much as I and others are. I also know my computer has crashed more than once, so I know the feeling when I cannot reply or even find the trade info.

I'm glad it all worked out, and that you didn't get too antsy with posting a negative. I've seen others do that, only to have them withdrawn, or given a good review later.

Luckily I haven't had to email anyone many times b4 starting to think about getting upset. I've only really been scammed once and I did a review on her member name 'at that time'. She is one of the few who keeps reinventing herself with new names and 'taking' folks repeatedly.

Sue
