Unfortunately, I cannot share you sentiments. Bob contacted me in March this year and asked to trade for 30 some tomato seeds from my list. Most of which were expensive commercial purchases. I in turn picked the same amount from his "have" list that he sent me. He did not tell me when we agreed to the trade that he was only going to send me half and didn't have the other half ready yet. I found this out the hard way, when his end of the trade arrived. He enclosed a note indicating the rest would arrive in a separate envelope as soon as he had them packaged up.
I have sent numerous follow up emails since spring. Once or twice I received a response from an "assistant" at his company saying the seeds would be sent the following week. They never were. More follow up attempts were never answered. Quite frankly, it is my view they are being deliberately ignored.
This should have never happened. He almost cleaned out my inventory of more rare varieties and did not send his end of the trade. Very frustrating indeed. I tried my best to avoid having to leave negative feedback, but tomatobob has left me no choice whatsoever. I could not recommend ever trading with this person. This was no small trade gone bad...
