Even though I have written down the names and email addresses of all I have traded with and I have their emails in my mail box, unfortunately no one has mentioned their "GardenWeb sign in" name in their email.
Before entering into a trade it is always best to know the actual GW name, and to verify the person is indeed a GW member. Occasionally non members will contact members wanting to trade, and that usually spells disaster. It is also a very good idea to check to see if the member has any reviews here at Rate and Review before trading. By checking reviews, it may save entering into a disappointing trade, since there have been a few bad traders, or members with mixed reviews, or even a few scammers.

It would be a good idea for every one to mention their sign in name also in their email.
If they don't mention it, it would be best to ask for it. I save all GW email addresses by the GW Member Name. I can then get the name from the email addy, or vice versa.
