Specializing in bulbs, I have placed a couple of orders with Touch of Nature. Everything was well labeled and nicely packed. The plants were of mature size and very healthy.

My experiences have been good ones!

RE: Touch of Nature

I wasn't pleased buying cannas from Touch of Nature. Some of their rhizomes were rotten, others that grew had mosaic virus, and they also sold me misnamed Stuttgart cannas. To his credit, the owner did refund my money, but he made it appear that I was the only person who received wrongly named Stuttgarts. I have seen several more people here on Garden Web the last two summers who have also purchased green Stuttgart cannas from Touch of Nature. This has been happening over at least a three year period, and I feel it's wrong for Bert to continue selling green "Stuttgarts" when he knows they are misnamed. For the reasons above, I will no longer do business with Touch of Nature nursery.

Got an email at the end of October announcing an early bird end of season sale. We then lost power for 8 days, after which I deleted the email and forgot about it. Today I decided to ask if the sale pricing was still valid. My email (send at 8:07pm) was answered promptly (8:09pm) stating the the sale was reactivated for me. I placed the order & received an email confirmation with ship date of tomorrow. The whole transaction took less than an hour. Will repost with information on the condition of the shipment when I receive it, but so far I'm VERY pleased with this company.

Got my order on Saturday (26th) and everything was perfect. They sent LOTS of extras. Highly recommended.
