Bob Smoley's Gardenworld

He's a grower of succulents, epiphyllum and holiday cacti in Florida.

Of the four easter cacti I bought, two have bloomed and were the exact same plant, one totally mislabeled. It was suppose to be orange, came out fuschia. The other two haven't even set buds, so I suspect they aren't easter cacti at all but thanksgiving/christmas.

I bought a dozen epiphyllum cuttings. Only one has bloomed and it was also mislabeled. It was suppose to be coral, came out yellow. By going through his catalog, one by one, which has no photo's, and then searching other sites for photo's, I figured out what I had. Which is great, cause when I wrote to him and showed him a picture of the bloom and asked what it was, he had no clue.

No telling what the rest are, I'm hoping that at least some are labeled correctly.

well, another epie bloomed....and it was mislabeled as well. It was suppose to be pink, came out white.
