The hubby and I moved here earlier this year. We've bought trees, bushes,herb plants and vegetable plants from Stranges, which is located near Short Pump (west end). While we found Stranges to be a bit expensive, everything in their yard is in great shape and thrived after going into our yard. Note that we did make sure to water adequately after planting it all.

They are worth the extra cost for the high quality of what you buy there. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They do not plant what they sell, but if you ask discretely (be discrete), some of the staff will come after work as a side job.
