Old Threads

I check this forum often, and rarely post, because I'm new to garden restoration. Although there have not been many new posts recently, I notice that there's a wealth of information in the old threads.

I'm just posting this so that others who are new to the subject won't be discouraged. I recommend looking back to the earlier pages for some interesting reading.

I noticed someone's revived many old threads on the garden writers forum; maybe I'll do that while I'm perusing some of the older ones here.

Manipulating the position of messages in a forum is not really allowed according to Gw rules as it can be used to move a post up, or down, as in the case you mention. There is no harm in asking a question about a subject you are interested in even if it has been covered before because membership is always changing and the question/answers might be new to some.

DiggingTheDirt--I don't think it is a mortal sin to add a comment to an old thread that is still relevant and thereby bring it to attention again. I think it is a public service!

INK, I saw what happened on the Garden Writers forum and maybe that was a bit over the top but I was actually interested in some of those old threads that I had no idea were lurking. Guess I could have hunted for them but I didn't.
