Speaking Of Those HUGE Junipers...

My FIL has a two story house from the 50s that had those awful huge Junipers in the front to hide the four foot tall cinderblock basement. My husband has taken them out, and FIL wants to sell the house. We need to put something there, at least to hide the ugly cinderblock. The area gets morning sun/afternoon shade. Any ideas?

Those cinderblock basements are horrible looking. I suggest painting them with a textured paint in a slightly darker shade to the one on the house. It's cheap, fast and very effective.
