I right clicked on the photos, went to properties, and cut and pasted the url. Afterwards, the pics appeared in the post. ??

There is not below ground restoration, that's renovation. The tree is the only part being brought back closer to original.

But they are placing bricks for brick paths around the back, and around the tree.

The red X thing has got me too.

My first three previews showed Xs. I checked the code, which needed no change, and the third preview displayed fine, as did the posted thread. But coming into the thread this time, I'm getting red Xs again.

I think sometimes hitting the back button and giving a second attempt will work. ?????

This is a bit wild, but I right clicked on each of those red Xs, and copied the properties URL, then pasted it in my address bar - did it for each. Went right to the photos. And for each, as I hit the back button to come back to the thread, the photos displayed on the thread. Both at the same time.

Intersting bit of photoshopping going on. The backgrounds are entirely different in the two pictures, though the tree seems similar. But maybe we're looking from a different direction now?

Yes. I got tired of A-Virus-A-Day and switched to a Mac. The new home page is still rudimentary. But it looks like i'll have some time soon to work on it

Yes, it looks like GardenWeb has made it harder to put straight HTML into a page... it now translates HTML between the typing and "preview" steps... so the tag symbols have to be coded as their hexadecimal numerical equivalents, in layers...

*DEEP sigh* ... which means, in order to write code that you can simply cut and paste from THIS post, I have to write the numerical equivalents four layers deep... ewww...
