I was told recently (keep in mind I am a newb) that if I put down SOD and my dog pee's on it the grass will die. EK! I dont wanna spend big bucks to put that down to have the dog ruin it.

How does all this work? My current grass seems okay, then again the dog tends to pee on the weeds (go toby go!). He goes number 2 on the grass..

I thought about designing a special area for him to go potty. My dog in VA naturally started going along the tree line along the back of my parents house, he almost never goes in the grass I suppose because he likes to sit in the grass. My puppy on the other hand is not as civalized...

Thoughts??
