I am into the 2nd year of a (hopefully) 5 year renovation/restoration of the family home landscaping. The landscaping was done in 1974. At one time I had 3 teens helping me with the gardens, but now it is only myself and occasional worker and hired help with the mature trees.

To say the least, there is alot. As I recall my father saying that the orginal landscaping cost 10,000 in 74.

The once full front perennial bed is now part shaded and I lost alot of perennials. Last year when I was working on this bed, about 500 sq ft, I incorporated rhubarb for the nice,large leaves.

I really like they way they accent the hostas from the 70's and was wondering if, or when rhubarb plants were used in landscaping themes.

Anyone know?
