old scottish broom growing sideways on the ground

I have a scottish broom (one of the "good" ones, the pink-ish ones sold in the nurseries in the northeast, not the invasive yellow ones taking over the west). It's about five years old, and quite large (and spectacular). Probably at least five feet tall, five feet wide.

Over this past winter, it leaned over to the side a ton, so the thick trunk is almost on the ground. I plan to prune back a ton this year, but also need to fix the lopsided angle. It's too big to stake. Do you recommend I dig it up and try to replant/recenter it? Other suggestions? Thanks very much.
