Craftsman and Poulan pro tiller

Hello,

I am contemplating in purchasing a Craftsman 900 series or a Poulan pro tiller 8.5 HP. I am more incline for the craftsman 900 series because it is chain driven as oppose to the poulan which is belt driven. Which of these two would you recommend. I intend to do heavy duty work with them.

may be a little late, but I think there's a Lawnmower Forum.

Basicly the same tiller. Both are rear tine chain drive . Both use a belt from engine to transmission. I would base my decision on price, service, and availability of parts. Sears rebadges products and sometimes has problems with providing parts after the product is a few years old.
