Zen garden in existing raised pool

Hello everybody,
I work for a charity and we have just been given a run down garden as long as we put a Zen garden in an existing raised pool. This pool must have been made to collect water as I can see no drainage points.
To put this Zen Gardn we are going to have to fill the existing structure at least half way so the zen garden can be seen from the gazebo. I have had a few ideas either to fill it with builders rubble but that may leave the surface uneven. Or it has been sugessted a wooden frame to raise the level but would that support gravel and stones? We were going to put a memberane down on top of this but what do we need to do for drainage? If anyone has any suggestions on how to do this project? |
