Fictional gotta-read with garden restoration

Just got done reading a really involving, gossipy novel that towards the end happens to have one of its main characters restoring a garden in Georgia. The writer is a Yankee herself, but married a Southerner. Not a Southerner myself, I'll leave it to others to check it for authenticity. Anyway, it's a fantastic read.

RE: Fictional gotta-read with garden restoration

Martha Grimes' latest mystery, "The Winds of Change," features a Cornish garden restoration with a body, a comically bogus "turf expert," and an abduction from the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
