| Hello,
We inherited a house and garden with lots that needs to be fixed. Neither my husband or I know anything about gardening. Any suggestions for some easy (comparitively), cheap fixes would be appreciated. We'd like to start with the front since it looks very bare and ugly. Not sure if we want shrubs or flower beds - something easy to work with. We think also that the yard (all 1/2 acre of it) will have to be tilled and new seeds sown (maybe in spring) since its all really overgrown weeds or dry patches. I have included a picture link.
Thank you |

| I was only able to view one of the photos you posted. In the area in front of your porch you could do a few evergreen shrubs or maybe a flowerbed with some roses. |

| Thanks naturalchick. We will plant some evergreen shrubs in spring. We are hoping to till and put in new grass seeds (lawn full of weeds) in the next few weeks and I have posted a separate message/question for that - do pipe if you have suggestions. Thanks again. |
