As one of the few who actually posts on this forum, I agree with your sadness. Many of us have long felt that the ambiguous title of the forum is a big part of the problem. Is it about historic gardens or fixing up a problem garden? The combination has never seemed to work.

The woman who started this forum worked really hard to get it on GW but she has long disappeared, unless she has changed her GW name. There used to be a lot of fun people here but they have also vanished into cyberspace.

Anyway, GW has much slower forums than this, and none that I check has ever been deleted.
