Here is a wonderful site to poke around in on a cold winter's day. The first (or so they say) garden history museum -- with display gardens, collections, a website, research, etc. Take a look. In the UK, of course.

Moving outhouses to the top.

But this was at the top! I couldn't believe after weeks of inactivity, the infamous thread got another post. I think it needs its own forum, which no doubt would be a great success.

Ginger
The Museum is a wonderful to place to visit too! I was there last year in February when the garden was quiet and not cluttered up with annuals.

So sorry, I posted to the outhouse thread without realizing there was so much anxiety over it. As I have perused all the other postings here, I find there are actually two camps forming and while One really doesn't know the Other is there, the Other is vehemently against the One. Who knew? Well, you know how to move a thread to the bottom? Post a reply to every other thread in the forum and they move to the top again. Time to get busy. As soon as a thread moves to the second page, it rarely gets another post. Cheryl

Hi all.

The museum has undergone a total makeover and is called now the 'Garden Museum'. The admission policy has changed, too. Have a look at the new website for further information:

Kind regards
