| I need help posting pictures, I have printed out the instructions " How do I add pictures to my posted messages" I have been trying to copy and paste from my computer files with no luck. Any easy steps. Do they have to be on photo bucket? HELP.

| Gloria, I think that photo's DO have to be on photobucket or one of the hosts for images. Others have much more knowledge of this sort of thing but GW seems to be fairly limited in what you can put in this here "Message:" box. Apparently, it's just these "a href" codes with these "<'s" and ">'s." I can't quite demonstrate it or GW feels compelled to slap something between one ">" and the other. It isn't difficult, at all, to use photobucket. And, if you don't want to open an account, it's even easier to use Tinypic.com. I don't think you should be worried about using that quick service since it's owned by photobucket. Click their "browse" button, find your picture, and then upload. You'll find the code when it's finished and you can copy it into the GW message box. digitalS' |

| Here is a link to a thread from this spring where it was discussed in a fair amount of detail. Here is a tutorial of sorts from the lawncare forum with screenshots. If you want to provide links to the pictures, you'll use href tags, but if you want the pictures to appear in the body of the post, you'll need img tags. It looks something like this: For a clickable link: <a href="put url here">Description goes here</a> For the image in the post: < img src="url goes here" alt="description in case picture doesn't display"> the alt= isn't required but will display text if the picture doesn't display for some reason. You can also specify a height and width for the picture. |

| Hi Gloria, If you managed to get to the bottom of the photo hosting thread I started that BP linked above, I just want to let you know that I really do like Picassa! You download your pictures from the camera to Picassa, then you can edit them if you want to, and then you transfer them to Picassa WebAlbums and can post them from there--using whatever size you want. And it's really easy! If I can do it-----it's really easy! I guess it's easy to post from PhotoBucket and other sites too, but, if I understand it right, you can't do any editing on those sites, so if you want to edit anything you'd need to use PhotoShop or something else first before putting them in PhotoBucket for posting. You can see all the help I got when I didn't know what to do, so if there's ANYTHING you can't figure out, come ask. Somebody will have an answer. Skybird |

how do you get the picture to turn out smaller |

| Hey, you did it, Gloria!! "how do you get the picture to turn out smaller" On your photobucket page, just above the 3 "Browse" buttons, you will see "max image size: 800 x 600 (options)." Click (options) I like to use the "website, email (320 x 240)" size. Click "Save" If you have already got the picture up there in your photobucket album, you will need to edit it. Just click that edit button and choose a smaller size. A little out of focus but those are nice colors! digitS' Hey, I get to play around sometimes too! |

| You can also adjust the display size in the html. I mentioned it but didn't really give details in my earlier post. <img src="url of picture goes here" height="nnn" width="nnn"> It's probably easier to edit the picture if you don't want to test different values in a local file first, since you can stretch/distort the picture if you're not careful. |
