wild mason bees?

I live in Ogden Ut. and was thinking of getting some mason bees. They are just rather expensive to buy off, and I am rather cheap. What are the chances that if I put up some houses I will get some mason bees? Any suggestions?

There are quite a few designs around the internet to build nesting areas for mason bees. They look pretty easy. Untreated wood and a decent drill is the biggest part of it and a place to put it.
