No fall color from aspens - anything we can do?

Hi, everyone. Our group of aspens were planted about three years ago. They have never shown fall color; just go from green to brown. They're on an irrigation system. We're at 6100 feet. Does anyone know a cure for this? Nurseries I've consulted -- there aren't many in this rural area --haven't been much help. Thanks very much. Other aspens in the area are varied -- some turn gold, some don't.

Nothing to do. They generally don't like it down that low and if they don't like it they will tell you. No color is one way to tell you they don't like it there.
