Tomato Inoculation

bob_in_colorado

I sometimes struggle with tomatoes. If they get the blight or the fungus infection or whatever, they always die and don't yield.

I read somewhere once that there's an inoculant you can give them in advance that will protect them. I start all my stuff from seed, so is it a systemic thing I should be watering in or is it something you apply after the plants in the ground?

What's it called? Successful use?
