Thats very interesting - so much of biology is now genetics - and the field is moving so fast its impossible for me to keep up.

Contrast Frogleap farms with the industrial efforts, along the very same lines, that Monsanto is up to. The principals are the same - its just the incredible tools and scale of what Monsanto is up to that boggles the mind.

Simply mind-boggling the changes that are taking place, David. I was in a chat room a few years ago with some breeders and producers and they started talking about alleles. They lost me for a bit until I could pick the mind of a scientist friend. It is all absolutely astonishing how fast it is all happening. I still don't trust Monsanto, but if it is this kind of breeding, that's far better than the GE stuff. But, I'll root for these little guys to keep making strides. Sure has been fun to see so many additions in the last decade.
