Native Plant of Utah - Wild Rose

Would this be a good choice in a flower bed? Can it be contained or will it just take over? I rooted several and now I am hesitant to plant them out for fear it will spread throughout the bed.

Put down that wild rose and slowly. walk. away.

I had one when we moved here. Used a front loader to dig it up, put it in a dump truck, and where it was, built a garage and cement -floored greenhouse. That thing comes up on all four sides of the structure, now 14 years later, and I constantly snip everything I find back to the ground.

They only bloom once in June, then thats it.
