Korean Spice Viburnum

These are such pretty shrubs and I love their scent when in bloom. I don't have any in my garden yet, but am thinking of planting some along my front porch which faces north. I currently have a row of endless summer hydrangeas there, but am planning on relocating them and planting something that doesn't die back to the ground each year. I just saw an old thread in which nancy_in_co mentioned she has a hedge of them on the north side of her house. I'm wondering how far apart they should be planted and would love to hear from anyone growing them, especially in a north facing location.

If you are growing any, are you happy with yours? How long do they bloom for you? Some of them I've seen, especially in shadier locations, tend to be a bit sparse, but I don't mind that "Charlie Brown" look so long as they look otherwise healthy.
