deer resistant perennials?

Not new to the forum, but totally new to gardening in the Rockies. We just bought a place in Pleasant Valley, MT, and we're frequently surrounded by deer. I have raised beds in place for the veggie garden, which we'll fence, but there also is a low bed by the front door just begging for flowers.

I have a list of "deer-resistant plants" which includes daffodil, hellebore, bee balm, lavender, peony, siberian iris, among others. So anyone in south/central Montana know whether the deer here have an appetite for these, or if there's something you've grown and had good no-deer luck with? (with the understanding that if they're hungry, they'll eat anything...)

thanks!

Jenny
