The plant is an annual (except in much warmer zones than ours) so it should do just fine. I don't have the vine but have seen pictures of it; it looks pretty! It apparently is somewhat drought tolerant and grows in most soils.

I've grown that in a planter on my deck, letting the vines drape around the deck structure. The flowers and subsequent beans are really pretty. Never did them in the ground though.
