The plants are good...and inexpensive.
Also, you can preorder and pick up at the Zoo during the sale.
I look forward to it every year!

Thanks for the info. I am hoping to go on the saturday morning, and since I HATE crutches, i think im going to rent a wheel chair and have the husband push me around the zoo after i get plants.

For those of you that aren't familiar with the area, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo really IS on the side of a mountain! The lazy folks--almost everybody--ride the tram to the top and then see the animals while they're walking down!

If you're ever down in the Colorado Springs area, it's a great zoo!

P.S. I HATE crutches too! But the only time I ever had to be in a wheel chair it didn't work out too well! Without even thinking about it, I kept trying to get up to "help" push it! I had the darndest time staying sitting---and I had a broken kneecap!

I was thinking if you get the wheelchair, be sure to bring lots of water for DH and be sure he's ready for a workout! I've only been there once but I remember thinking I'm not bringing my mother or MIL there when they come visit...

I may have to check out this sale though...

He is getting ready for a pt test with the army, he needs the work out right? I love the cm zoo I have a membership so I can go whenever i want barring injury lol. I'm excited about the plant sale!!!
