Homemade Drip Irrigation (Questions)

Hi guys, so I made an improvised drip irrigation system on the cheap with a bucket and some black tubing. It works via gravity and has been functioning just as envisioned.

What I'm wondering is if there are any veggie plants that will not enjoy drip irrigation? I'm sure most thristy crops will love it, but I figure herbs will want no part of it, right? I think for sure the tomatoes will want it and probably melons/squash too. Please any input is appreciated.

Also, do I just let it go all the time? Or only run it a few hours every day, every other day? I'm totally new to any sort of irrigation system, no matter how simple, so not really sure what I'm doing here. I sure don't want to over water them, but I assume they will want lots of water once it heats back up. Thanks in advance.
