Welcome to Kersey. I just left town. With 1/2 acre, you must be in the country. Be glad you have a well. You will need to use it for every thing. I will not recommend cause I am only a tomato grower and you need to wait 10 more days before putting them out. I suggest you drive around and look what others are doing. Those bushes at the Post Office, what ever they are, look nice to me. On the SE corner, 5th st., is probably one of the best vegetable growers I have ever seen. I like to drive by the place. Regular lawn grass is a pain to keep watered and maintained..do as little of it as you can.
