Your hose gives you a GPH output. That tells you how much water it delivers and you can judge how long to leave it on. When I had mine it came on 3x/week for ~30-45 mins - 1 hr depending on heat and wind.

It is time to lay out, as the heat is coming soon. You will see that you can't turn sharp corners so be gentle. Mine lasted almost two years (under straw mat) before rotting in the UV rays and I no longer use them in the garden.

My experience is that soaker hoses are better when my plants have matured a bit. Seedling roots tend to be on the shallow side and soaker hoses may not deliver the water where they need it.
