Another Peony Question

I have 6 peonies that I planted about 2 months ago. They are in morning sun/afternoon shade. They have grown about 4-6 inches from the root mass I planted. Some of them look like the leaves are starting to curl in and they don't seem to be growing anymore. I have not found any bugs on them. Should I be fertilizing them? What should I do to encourage growth?

As they're newly planted, the deep roots aren't yet established, and they're going to show some heat stress. You might give put a few inch deep layer of compost around them, which would act like a mulch as well as a slow release fertilizer. Make sure that their ground stays reasonably moist so the roots can develop. As long as the leaves stay green, something is going on.
