Serviceberry anyone?

I had five arborvitae die this winter and need a tall, narrow shrub to replace them. One garden center recommended the Rainbow Pillar serviceberry. Pictures of them are beautiful in the fall! It will be planted on a drip system. We would like something fast growing to give us summer privacy in our suburban lawn.

I don't know if Serviceberry's grow fast, but I have a Serviceberry Tree, Autumn Brilliance. It's a single stem and it is very beautiful in the fall. It has white flowers in the spring that change into berries. The birds love it. It's a small tree. I would recommend it.
