A couple years ago, my Mount Royal Plum tree gave us a huge harvest. My father in law made wine with them.

Last year and this year, the tree didn't flower or start fruit.

I was thinking of pruning heavily to grow 'new fruiting wood' since it hasn't really generated any new green wood last year or this year.

It's always been a good producer until the year we did a heavy harvest. Great, sweet plums. I miss them!
