Tomato early success

Three almost ripe tomatoes in... colorado springs. 6500 feet;

Containers: One Stupice, one Punta Banda;

raised bed but transplanted two weeks ago... Sasha's Altai.

18 varieties being grown, no green house this year. These were all bought as seedlings from Good Earth.

Lots more from seed started Apr 1... fairly late.

26 plants in all, some Oregon spring from seed.

Lots of flowering tomatoe plants, several more very green young tomatoes, but 3 ready to eat this coming week.

Anyway i hope it is a good year for all in the Rockies.

Eh, not so much here. The big wind storms from the desert a couple weeks ago seem to have blown in the dread beet leaf-hoppers and their curly top virus, and aboug 80% of my tomatoes caught it. I managed to find some cheap 6-packs of Better Boy and replaced 18 of the worst/last legs ones, the pickings are pretty slim here now. When I was perusing the nurseries for replacements, I noticed some of their stock seems to have been infected as well.
