Hi Everybody,
I would like to invite you to my 15th Annual Open Garden.
The date is Saturday July 16th. The garden will be open to the public from 8am until 4pm.

The Cat Lady's Garden is an American Hemerocallis Society Display Garden. The daylilies are in their peak bloom. Real eye candy!!! I have more than 4,000 cultivars for your viewing pleasure along with many other perennials. There are several rose gardens on the property. The Orienpet lilies and Crocosmias will also be in bloom.

The address is 15643 East 35th Place, near I-70 and Chambers Road in Aurora. Please call if you have questions or need directions. 303 366-9689 ~ Karen

Aw, I would love to stop by but will be leaving in the morning to go out of town. Looks like I'll have to plan around it for next year. Hope it goes well!

Well I'm bummed - I won't be able to make it to your gardens afterall, Cat :^( I caught my foot on some gravel and stepping stone this morning taking the dog out, and fell. Have a high grade sprain on my ankle now . Spent the morning in the ER and left with some percocet and a walker boot/brace. Gonna spend the weekend being more careful, and propping up my foot and iceing it.

Hope you get a great turn out - the day looks beautiful out there!! Post some pics if you can!

Karen,

Mom and I visited your place today. I've been there at the swap a few years back, but hadn't seen it with the daylilies in bloom.

Your garden is a wonder! It's truly one of the most beautiful gardens I've ever seen. I bought some plants to offset some of the free ones I've gotten at the swaps. ;o)

Thank you for an inspirational day. It looks like you had a great turn out!

My DH and I made it out for the first time, and the first words out of my mouth were "oh my, this is unbelievable". Your daylilies are gorgeous! We made two loops around the areas. My DH took his sandals off and walked barefoot through your gardens, something he loves to do. I asked to meet you but you had gone inside, so hopefully we will meet another time. I now know who to go to for any daylily questions :) It was my B'day today and I was debating on coming to your place or the botanical center, I know now that I made the best choice.
