The Denver Post has a story today about the Denver Daisy that was introduced to celebrate Denver's 150th anniversary. It sounds like most people have been unable to get them to sprout.

I picked up a packet of these free seeds at a local nursery. They looked a little weird (they appear to have some kind of coating on them) but they were fairly big so I tossed them on my hydroponic sprouter with some other stuff and they all sprouted and did just fine.

Did anybody else have luck sprouting these with a conventional method? I am wondering if that seed covering was the problem?
