Heavy frost last night

Our garden is done this year except for the tomatoes that are planted in the heated greenhouse. I was able to can and freeze enough to last until next year but I will sure miss the fresh vegetables.

RE: Heavy frost last night

Uh oh, sorry about that mla2ofus!

We are on borrowed time here but with a number of records set in the 1st two weeks of September because of the 90o highs, things are looking pretty good here. It is like the warm season has shifted a month the last few years - cold runs late in the spring and warmth runs late in September. We are "borrowing" weeks from June!

Oh, after a nasty dust storm Sunday night, we went into that Big Cool Down. Still, high 40's aren't too bad for lows.

Plan, plan, plan! Time to be planning next year's gardens! And, enjoy those tomatoes!

Steve
