It comes down to this with some of us. I've taken stomach medicine for several years. After several years of anti-inflammatories and a several series of steroid treatments wrecked my stomach.

I've just taken some additional stomach med this evening. The banana chips I ate after dinner didn't go down well.

Tomatoes also have loads of potassium. Usually, people don't get enough but too much or too little must be bad for us . . .

Yes, there's sweet corn - about the most important for me to get fresh! And, how about a pole bean or 2 to grow in your garden?

Kenny I hate to hear that. I have allergies to about 2 out of every 3 vegetables they have tested me for. I can usually manage as long as I eat in moderation. Some things like Tomatoes cause a severe rash. Other things cause and irritation to my stomach lining. Even too many grapes ect bother me. I can eat home grown apples with no issue. But those I buy if I eat more than a couple a week I have issues. I feel it is what they spray them with while growing them. I have even tried skinning them and that hasn't helped. If my tomato allergy ever gets to the point where I can't eat tomatoes even on a limited basis it will be a drastic change for me. Like I've told several about the new lunch guidelines. For those who have food allergies like me it would require me to carry a lunch for certain. I love veggies but have to be selective in the amount I eat. Cukes also cause problems. Sweet corn is also included in what I need to limit and I love sweet corn as much if not more than tomatoes. Jay
