I stumbled upon a new site today. I know some people are already using Facebook to share their progress with their gardens and farms. But, I found a new social networking site that seems to be designed to be used solely for plants. It actually looks kind of neat. On first glance it looks like its like Facebook, a blog site, and a database all in one. It looks like you can list which varieties your growing and all kinds of stuff. I thought maybe some of you would be interested.

I just tried it out. It's not bad. It takes a little getting used to, but it makes searching available varieties really really easy. It makes easy to offer seed for swaps and add seeds to your wish-list. I added a bunch of pea varieties that i have in my stash and it was fun, but took a while. Maybe some of you might like to check it out. I really like the way it lets you connect with other people who are in your area with the maps and the swap/wish-list connecting it lets you do.
