| We're new(well new this time around) transplants to Colorado and will be moving into our new home in Longmont around November 3.
There are a lot of great tree sales going on right now and we're wondering when is the last possible date to plant trees? We're looking at Maples and Pines. Our new yard needs privacy desperately so it would be great if we could get a head start on planting but don't want to kill off a bunch of trees. |

| As long as the ground isn't frozen, and you water them in very well, any time is ok before the ground freezes. Be sure to check the soil around the root ball over the winter, it may need water now and again. |
