| With a few empty beds I'm sowing some carrot seeds. The seeds getting kind of old so might as well give it a try. I've had overwintered carrots before and in general they have been good in the spring though some were not.
They will probably sprout but making through the winter might be a question mark. They might also go to seed quickly in springtime. Has anyone else tried sowing carrot seed at this time of year? |

| The carrot experiment seems to be going pretty good so far. Have kept them under a floating row cover. |

| That looks like it's going to work for you, Greg. Sure can tell that Colorado gets intense Winter sun from the pictures! I almost saw the sun, yesterday . . . Not likely to almost see it again for awhile. Steve |
