GARDEN WEB is Lame in allowing followup postings11

Just one more data point. My NY home was a solid USDA zone 5 and my Grandmother's place in Western Colorado was a 4. This says you need to talk to your immediate Neighbors to find what will grow. In the country side this is very valuable since there are people that have fruit trees that work over the course of time. My Grandmother had a friend 5 miles away (1000ft lower) who consistently had huge apricots from her trees. Tasted like iced honey in a fruit form!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
