| The issue of two hybrid teas named Firefighter has been resolved. Ben Williams has agreed to change the name of his rose to Louise Park and allow the rose sold by Phil Edmunds to use the AEN of Firefighter. Thus the confusion should be cleared up and you can safely exhibit the Edmunds rose (ORAdal) under the name Firefighter.
This solution was worked out by two gentlemen, Ben Williams and Phil Edmunds, and I think we all will thank them for arriving at a solution that is good for roses. |

Phil,
Prior to be exhibited, would this action first need to be approved by ARS and appear in an official ARS publication? On 1-8-04, (ORAdal)was originally registered as “Hacienda”

Ron,
You are correct that it will have to be published by the ARS before it is official. The new 2005 Official List is due out in March and the change will be included there.
